Homelessness has worsened every year since Lawson-Remer was elected.

After years of decline under Mayor Kevin Faulconer’s leadership, chronic homelessness has skyrocketed every year Lawson-Remer has been in office.

• Supervisor Terra Lawson has missed a total of 199 meetings including Board of Supervisor meetings, committee, and subcommittee meetings that play vital roles in shaping policy and advancing meaningful reforms. Source: Public records

• Lawson-Remer has skipped 765 votes, more than all the other county supervisors combined. She’s missed or skipped 74% of committee votes, excluding Board of Supervisors meetings. Source: Public records 

• Lawson-Remer was assigned as a primary member of the SANDAG Board of Directors from 2021 to the end of 2022. In 2022, Lawson-Remer’s attendance rate dropped from about 90% to 50%. She missed 46.8% of all votes.

• The SANDAG Shoreline Preservation Group has had only Lawson-Remer assigned to the Committee. Lawson-Remer has missed all but one meeting.

• For the SANDAG Regional Planning Committee, Supervisor Lawson-Remer was chosen as the primary member in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Despite this, she did not attend a single meeting in 2022 or 2023.

• Lawson-Remer sits on the The San Diego Air Pollution Control District Board. After missing 60% of meetings in 2022, she proceeded to miss every meeting in 2023 and 2024 so far.

• Lawson-Remer is on the Board of the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Fuel Removal Committee. She hasn’t attended a single meeting.

• Lawson-Remer sits on the North San Diego County Transit Development Board. She hasn’t attended a single meeting. 

• Lawson-Remer was appointed to the San Diego County Water Authority in charge of setting rates and safeguarding our county’s water supply. She hasn’t attended a single meeting.

• Lawson-Remer is a member of the Mission Trails Regional Park Task Force. She has missed all but one meeting.

• Lawson-Remer also served as an alternate on SANDAG’s Public Safety Committee in 2022 and 2023. She didn’t attend a single meeting.
